When the ocean was churned by the devas and asuras, many treasures rose from its depths. Among them was Lakshmi, radiant upon a lotus, carrying the promise of prosperity.
Everyone hoped she would choose them.
Lakshmi looked carefully at those gathered before her. Then she placed her garland around Vishnu, whose steadiness could hold and protect all that she brought into the world.
Her story reminds us that abundance begins with a choice. Where we place our time, trust, and energy shapes what grows around us.
This piece carries Lakshmi’s world of lotus flowers, jewel tones, and celebration. Each rich detail reflects a form of abundance: opportunity, relationships, creativity, joy, and the courage to choose them wisely.

- A sheer, fine embroidered net forms the rose-pink ground of the body and sleeves, carrying the warmth of the lotus Lakshmi rose from
- Green vines in metallic silver-bronze and colored thread scroll across the pink net, tracing growth taking root and expanding outward
- Wide antique-bronze and plum-brown panels anchor the front hem, back hem, cuffs, and collar, a symbol for the radiance of a temple threshold welcoming prosperity
- Jewel-toned flowers built from dense metallic seed beads, bugle beads, and iridescent teal and gold sequins represent the many forms abundance can take
- Large daisy-like blooms carry elongated white and silver reflective petals around mirrored centers, returning the wearer's own image, placing them in the story as the one who chooses what grows
- Bright fuchsia seam bindings join the reclaimed panels at every seam, repeating again at the hem, cuffs, and front edge, with a deep fuchsia lining showing through the open front and collar
- The jacket features an open front, no buttons, closures or pockets, and a soft point collar.

We carefully prepare each jacket while preserving the character of the textiles it holds. Older embellishments can be delicate or loose and need gentle handling.
